Senator Darryl Rouson Visits CleanSlate Outpatient Addiction Treatment Center in Tampa

Senator Darryl Rouson visited the CleanSlate Outpatient Addiction Medicine treatment center in Tampa on Friday, June 21, to learn more about how medication-assisted treatment is helping Floridians overcome alcohol and opioid addiction.

Senator Rouson, who represents Florida’s 19th District, met with CleanSlate Regional Medical Director Dr. Flora Sadri and Tampa Center Manager Louisa Ray, and toured the facility.

“We were thrilled to host Senator Rouson and spend time discussing important issues around combatting the opioid epidemic in our state,” said Ray. “We are seeing great success through our medication-assisted treatment programs for opioid and alcohol addiction, and we look forward to working with Senator Rouson and other policymakers and providers to continue to improve outcomes for Floridians.”
