During the month of July, Elkhart and Warsaw, Indiana Center Manager Marisa Nyikos challenged her Medical Assistant and Medical Receptionist team members to a little friendly competition to see who could exemplify the "Warrior Spirit" by giving the best care to CleanSlate patients.
Meshia Evans, Medical Assistant for the Elkhart center, won the "Customer Service Champion" award for the month of July. In addition to a certificate of recognition, Meshia also received an Amazon gift card.Read More
The Marketing & Communications team has developed a variety of media resources to support Center Managers and their teams during National Recovery Month, including a press release template, an op-ed (opinion column), radio PSA scripts, and a media advisory for events held to recognize National Recovery Month at your location. The Muncie CleanSlate center recently implemented a new incentive program for patients who keep all of their scheduled visits. The center staff have started to hole punch (with a special hole punch) the patient appointment cards. Every time a patient comes in for their scheduled visit, the staff punch the card. When the appointment card is full, it is placed in a fish bowl for a drawing to win a special surprise. When a patient shows up for their called random and they show, the staff also put a card in the fish bowl.Read More
People and police come together under positive circumstances every year for National Night Out, an event that happens across the country on the first Tuesday in August. The CleanSlate Kenosha and Racine centers were there to show our support of and continued work with local law enforcement and to help decrease the stigma surrounding addiction treatment and to be a valuable resource to the communities we serve. CleanSlate's work with law enforcement across the U.S. is vitally important in intervening with high risk populations and helping to reach those who need addiction treatment most.
The National Night Out program started in 1984 and since then it has brought together 38 million neighbors with local law enforcement agencies in 16 thousand communities.Read More
