LabMA Training Team Welcome New Addition

Greencastle, IN Center Celebrates Nurse Practitioner's One Year Anniversary During NP Week

The Greencastle, Indiana center was proud to celebrate the one-year anniversary of their Nurse Practitioner Crystal Woods during National Nurse Practitioners Week, which is celebrated each year November 10 through 16. NP Week celebrate these exceptional health care providers and to reminds lawmakers of the importance of removing outdated barriers to practice so that NPs will be allowed to practice to the full extent of their experience and education.

Indy North Center Hosts Recovery Rocks Event to Raise Awareness of Locally Available Addiction Treatment Options

The CleanSlate Outpatient Addiction Medicine center in North Meridian hosted a community event on Wednesday, September 4, to raise awareness during National Recovery Month that addiction is a treatable disease. The event included a presentation by motivational speaker Dru Hicks about the value of community in recovery.

Three Indiana Centers Recognize Patients with Prizes for Keeping All Appointments

As you may remember, a few months ago several Indiana centers adopted a patient appointment incentive started by Center Manager Julie Clifton in Muncie. 

The Muncie, Kokomo, and Plainfield, Indiana teams have proudly implemented this incentive for patients to keep appointments by having a raffle for a prize for patients that maintain full appointment cards. Every time a patient comes in for their scheduled visit, the staff punch the card. When the appointment card is full, it is placed in a fish bowl for a drawing to win a special surprise. When a patient shows up for their called random and they show, the staff also put a card in the fish bowl.

Center Manager Megan Abdullahi recently participated in the promotional video featured below for New Bedford's International Overdose Awareness Day community event to help raise awareness about the disease of addiction and the very real threat of overdose to those battling substance use disorders. Megan has participated in the annual community event for the past three years and was asked to participate this year as a guest speaker on the impact of losing her husband to overdose and how CleanSlate services can help those in the community in need.
