Another Living the Mission Award to a Warrior Excelling

by Amy Magras | Jul 21, 2018
image005-3Felicia Sumlin, Medical Assistant in Gilbert, AZ truly lives the Warrior mission.
I have witnessed Felicia go above and beyond a few times, always honoring the value "Patients First."
One example:  We had a patient who was petrified to come into the Gilbert clinic.  Felicia went outside (remind you, we are in Arizona.  It's 115 degrees outside) and spoke with the patient.  She sat next to the patient for a good 30 minutes and explained step by step what was going to happen and answered EVERY question the patient had.
The care and compassion was heart warming.  The patient relaxed and came into the center for treatment.  I was so proud of Felicia.   The moment was beautiful.   Felicia saved this patient!
